PASSWORD AND LOGIN 
 
I have forgotten my password, what should I do?
Please click on the "Member Login" button on the home page, follow instructions and a new password will be emailed to your registered email address instantly.  Please be aware that passwords are case sensitive.  Once logged in successfully you can change your password at anytime.

 

GOODS AND SERVICES

Do I need to login to use your website?
No – it is not necessary to register in order to gain access to the search facilities of the website.  Certain areas of the website will require you to register your personal details.  If you do not register, these facilities will not be available to you.

Do you personalise greeting cards?

We do not print names on the front of greeting cards but we do offer the free service of handwriting your personal message inside for you.

 

Do you monitor messages ensuring the recipient will not be offended?

Yes – we reserve the right to refuse any text which we feel is of an unsuitable nature. Please see terms and conditions for further information.

 

If I choose to write the greeting card myself will you send an extra envelope for me to use?

Yes – the correct envelope for the greeting card will be sent to you in an outer envelope.

 

Can I order a greeting card today but request delivery for a future date?

Yes – you are given the option for a delivery date up to 12 months in advance.

 

How does the Busybods logo Calendar work?

Enter all your important dates, not forgetting important clients or work colleagues and we will send you an email reminder that this date is approaching.


Is the Busybods logo Calendar service free?

Yes

 

How does the Advanced Order Service work?

This enables you to plan upto 12 months ahead.  Choose a greeting card, select the delivery date and we will reserve it and despatch as requested.  This can be any date up to 12 months in advance.  If the date is not a normal working day, e.g. a Saturday, Sunday or a Bank Holiday, the card will be despatched on the next working day.

 

 

PRICING AND PAYMENT


Please clarify your pricing structure

All our greeting cards and giftwrap products are individually priced.  The price includes VAT but is exclusive of delivery.   There is no charge to have a message handwritten in your chosen greeting card.

 

A full breakdown of the product prices and postage will be clearly displayed in your shopping basket before you checkout.


How can I pay?

Payment can be made using most credit and debit cards.  When shopping online all information submitted is encrypted and secure.

 

We use Paypal.  We do not hold your credit card details, all your information goes directly to Paypal.  A confirmation of your payment is sent directly from Paypal to you by email.

 

 

POSTAGE AND PACKING

 

Please clarify the cost of postage and packaging:

We operate a fair postage policy.  Price for multiply purchases will be calculated according to Royal Mail guidelines.  From the 21st August 2006 the Royal Mail changed to a pricing system which is based on the size of the envelope as well as the weight.

 

All our products are posted using first class mail for UK deliveries and Airmail for all other destinations. 

 

Postage will be calculated at checkout.

The price you show of first class post is more than the cost of a stamp I could buy at the Post Office – why is this?

When postage is offered as part of an order it is liable for VAT, when you buy stamps from a Post Office for personal use they are zero VAT rated.  Therefore postage for a card at letter rate costs 34p + 6p VAT = 40p


Do you sell Stamps?

Yes – books of 12 x 1st class

 

Can I order greeting cards to be sent to different postage zones (i.e Europe and UK) in the same order?

No, unfortunately we are not able to do this at present so we recommend you place separate orders for different postage zones. i.e. all UK deliveries in one order or all Europe together etc.

 

DESPATCH AND DELIVERY

Please note despatch date is the day your greeting card will be posted and not the day your greeting card will arrive.

Please clarify expected delivery times for my order:

The Royal Mail aims to deliver 90% of all first class letters the next working day.

 

To avoid disappointment, please allow at least the following times for your delivery:

 

UK

2 working days

Europe

3 working days

Rest of World

5 working days

 

Please remember to use a postcode. 

 

We cannot be held responsible for delays in Royal Mail delivery.


Do you deliver goods outside the UK?

Yes – we send to any destination in the world providing that the Royal Mail covers the country you wish to send to.

 


REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

 

Can I change or cancel my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order prior to it being despatched.  If it has not been despatched we will make every effort to either make the relevant change or give a full refund.

 

If the order has been despatched with a handwritten message we are unable to provide refunds.

 

Any order which has been despatched must not be opened or used and must be "as new" when returned to us otherwise a full refund will not be given.

Is my privacy protected with you?

CHARITY INFORMATION

 

Will my family and friends know that a donation from the sale of this greeting card has gone to charity?

Yes – on the back of each greeting card we place a label stating that 10% from the sale of the greeting card has gone to your chosen charity.

 

Can my donation go to more than one charity?

Yes.  There is an option at checkout to "equally split between all charities".

 

Can I make additional donations to my chosen charity?

Yes – we have provided links to the individual charities websites for your convenience.  Please follow their guidelines on how to make a donation directly with your chosen charity.  We do not accept donations on their behalf.
